7 Reliable Facebook Giveaway Picker Tools for Your Next Contest
Running a giveaway on Facebook is an excellent way to engage your audience, increase followers, and build excitement around your brand. However, ensuring that your contest is fair and transparent is crucial to maintaining your community’s trust. That’s where Facebook giveaway picker tools come in. These tools simplify the process of selecting winners, ensuring randomness and fairness. In this guide, I’ll introduce you to seven top-rated Facebook giveaway picker tools that will help you run successful and trustworthy contests.
The Power of Facebook Giveaways
Participating in these digital competitions is not only fun, but it also gives users an opportunity to win existing prizes. As the draw gets closer, the tension builds up, filling participants with adrenaline. Even if a person doesn’t win anything, most participants consider these contests a positive experience.
Using giveaways is fantastic for companies that have stopped growing their social media followership. It provides them with a new avenue of exposure with several tangible benefits:
- Increases engagement
- Increases brand awareness
- Higher sales
- Boosts customer loyalty
- Builds a list of people, etc.
There are two examples that specifically caught my eye and that I’d like to share with you.
Great Lakes is a platform that helps students clear their loans. They used a giveaway to increase awareness of the student loaning and repayment process. A whopping 206,000 people participated in the event. To make things even better, 20 colleges shared this post on their channels, giving it extra legitimacy.
Unlike My Great Lakes, Mario Badescu Skin Care had a more straightforward goal. The company wanted to increase the demand for their cosmetic products. They created a Facebook post that offered a 10% discount to all giveaway participants. Not only would you get a chance to win awesome awards, but you’d also save some money when buying cosmetics. As you’d expect, the results were incredible. They significantly increased their presence on the social media platform in just a few weeks, attracting attention from various news outlets.
Why You Need a Facebook Giveaway Picker
A random winner generator gives legitimacy to the entire process. It shows participants you didn’t use any tricks to choose the giveaway winners. You can use these tools in a live stream, on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or some other platform.
The best thing yet is that some of these giveaway tools come with a variety of options and allow you to streamline campaigns. Use them to run the entire process from a single dashboard and pick a random winner from a list of users. Certain tools even measure stats, helping you determine the level of engagement.
How Do Facebook Giveaway Pickers Work?
Facebook pickers work under a simple premise. First, you have to connect your Facebook account with the software and select the giveaway post. After that, you input various parameters, such as the list of prizes, the number of winners, required mentions and hashtags, and so on.
The program sifts through all the comments within the post and focuses on those that fit the preset criteria. After pressing the button, the picker selects one of these users at random. Depending on the software, you might also have a few other branding features that will improve the overall user experience.
All in all, these are simple tools that connect with Facebook and analyze the data within the platform. They don’t require too many settings, and you can execute a contest in just a few minutes. This makes them perfect for companies that often use giveaways and don’t want to have a prolonged contest ceremony.
7 Recommended Facebook Giveaway Pickers
There are so many incredible Facebook pickers you can use. Some of them have nifty advanced features and provide unique branding for your campaigns. Most of them are free, with a few of them having a premium version with bonus functions.
1. Woobox
Woobox chooses a winner from likes and comments. Before you start a const, you need to import all reactions and comments into the software so it can choose a lucky person from the list of participants. Another key feature is that Woobox can choose a winner based on several posts, not just one.
Like many other tools for giveaways, Woobox is able to select several winners one after another. With its prize claim forms, it collects information about all users and confirms their data for added legitimacy. You can also export a list of likes to check out who interacted with your post. Your sales teams can then use this list for leads.
Similarly, you can export all comments into a single file. This allows you to check if the people abided by the rules when posting. Another fantastic thing about Woobox is that it works for a multi-platform giveaway. Besides Facebook, the software also works for Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter.
The Facebook comment picker is connected to the company’s main software but is free to use.
2. Iconosquare
Iconosquare is a complex social media media software that streamlines various campaigns and helps you achieve company objectives. The company also offers a giveaway generator for Facebook and Instagram, which you can utilize with a basic login.
To use the program, you first have to select your commercial page and giveaway post. After that, you set the contest deadline and number of winners. The software sifts through hashtags and mentions in these posts, allowing you to pinpoint eligible participants (if the competition required hashtags or mentions).
There’s also a feature that spots duplicate comments. This is vital for the integrity of the contest, eliminating people who posted several times. Once you’ve introduced all these options, the software will choose a lucky person from the list. I also have to mention that Iconosquare is a polished website, and you can use the tool directly from your browser.
The tool is completely free for all users.

3. Fanpage Karma
Fanpage Karma uses several systems to determine winners. It can choose a user who liked your post, who commented on the post, someone who commented and liked the post, or a comment with the most likes. I did notice that Fanpage Karma can’t differentiate mentions and hashtags, which is a big minus for companies that want to use this method.
As for the process, you start by sharing the post link. After that, you insert specific requirements for participants. For example, you can select the number of winners and what makes a person eligible. After that, Fanpage Karma does its magic and selects one person from the list. The selection process is done in real-time, and you can share it via live stream.
Similar to some other entries on the list, the Facebook picker is mainly used to promote the company’s flagship product. Luckily, this nifty tool is completely free, and you don’t have to subscribe to the main program.
4. Random Comment Picker
This is probably one of my favorite tools on the list. Despite its somewhat generic name, Random Comment Picker does a great job of running online contests. It comes with a plethora of features that allow you to filter between numerous users.
The program allows you to select a winner from a single or multiple posts. You can also select the main criteria. For example, your winner can be the first or last comment, a comment with the most ikes, or a random comment. If you wish, you can choose a winner based on the total number of comments on a post.
Like most other programs, Random Comment Picker chooses one or several winners. As for the other features and options, you can add comment replies to the contest, filter duplicates, filter certain phrases or hashtags, filter results based on likes and dates, only use participants with photos, etc.
It’s worth mentioning that many of these features are premium. However, as the premium version is rather cheap, costing just $8 per month, it is a good investment. Another thing I love about the software is that it allows you to choose between animations.

5. Rafflys
Rafflys is a software that works for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. As with any other tool in this category, you start by connecting the account. Then, you choose the page and giveaway post.
Similar to other quality giveaway pickers on this list, Rafflys has a plethora of options to help you out. First off, you can give your contest a name to make it look more official. After that, you choose the number of winners, the number of substitutes, and featured prizes. The program supports mentions and hashtags.
With the premium version, you get a bunch of new options. It allows you to change branding, insert a logo, change colors, and introduce a countdown during draws. The premium version also has a block list, filters users by mentions, and allows extra chances. Rafflys is a perfect solution for companies who want to make a spectacle of their giveaways.
Another feature I wanted to shout out is a wheel spinner. This function works for just about anything, whether we’re talking about social media giveaways or other contests. You just have to create a list of entries, and spin the wheel to select one of them at random. While this might not be ideal for massive contests on Facebook, it can be used in various other situations.
Rafflys has the most complex pricing structure out of all entries. Its free plan has basic features and supports up to 600 comments. The Starter pack costs €9 per month and allows up to 2,000 comments without added features. Creator (€19 per month) and Agency (€49 per month) come with all features, track more comments, and can be used for numerous platforms.

6. RandomPicker
With this powerful tool, you conduct comprehensive giveaways for your brand. The thing that stands out with RandomPicker is a vast number of anti-cheating options. For example, you can’t change the outcomes after the draw, and there’s a public record of the competition.
The program creates a list of users with their personal details, removes duplicates, and weighs their participation (e.g., how many times they posted and how many likes they received). There’s also a special certificate that corroborates your event and that it was done in good faith, without any transgressions.
Like many other programs, RandomPicker offers numerous options to create customized campaigns. It allows you to add prizes and the number of participants, as well as to upload a list of participants. My favorite thing about this software is that all participants are anonymous; the program only shows their names’ first and last letters.
RandomPicker has a free plan, which is mainly for testing purposes and has numerous limitations. Otherwise, you have the option of paying $39 for a single draw. The company’s Basic plan costs $99 per year, Standard plan is $199 per year, and Advanced Plan is $399 per year.

7. Wask
Wask is a relatively simple tool with several contest options. Once you input the post link, it shows you how many people participated in the event. You can then choose the number of winners and the number of mentions required to participate. After that, you just click the button to select the winner at random.
It’s worth mentioning that Wask is primarily a digital ad platform. So, they use the giveaway picker tool as a promotional method to increase brand awareness and website visits. Still, it will provide more than enough assistance if you wish to run a public contest.
The company’s Facebook picker is completely free and independent from the flagship tool.
