35 Recommended AI Tools for Business

35 Recommended AI Tools for Business

(This post contains affiliate links. Read my full disclosure.)

AI tools have become a necessity, not only for marketing but also for all other daily business processes. These programs can automate tasks we previously needed days and even weeks to do by hand. Even better, they utilize real-time data and, unlike humans, aren’t prone to errors – although they can hallucinate in an attempt to fulfill their mission. That aside, in terms of sheer idea generation alone they have become indispensable for me already just over the last few months.

Unfortunately, despite all the benefits, the large number of options in the market can cause headaches for entrepreneurs and businesses trying to figure out what tool they should use for what process. Some platforms might excel at specific features while providing subpar results for other tasks. Because of that, it’s vital that you understand the market, the best available products, and how they can improve your business performance.

In this article, I’ll review 35 popular AI business tools categorizing them into different groups based on their best functionality. These are mere overviews of what is possible, and I encourage you to click through and learn more about the specific tools that excite you.

Why are we seeing an explosion in the number of AI tools for business?

The modern concept of artificial intelligence dates to the mid-1950s. Unfortunately, the computers at that time weren’t advanced enough to facilitate the process, so the idea was scrapped for the time being. The basis for modern AI-powered tools was set in the 1980s, when scientists developed deep learning, allowing computers to improve their functions from experience.

The 2000s saw an exposition of AI software when companies started introducing devices that could tackle a wide range of tasks. Nowadays, when we talk about artificial intelligence tools, we mainly think of products that are used for business purposes.

ChatGPT and, in particular, GPT-4 were the turning points for online AI software. Suddenly, people realized that AI could instantly tackle hard, repetitive tasks that would otherwise take us hours to complete. They could also create text that came incredibly close to that of an actual human being. In short succession, software companies introduced tools that would allow us to generate high-quality videos, royalty-free images, entire blog posts (not this one, of course!), and lines of code with minimal human input.

My shortlist of AI tools for business I recommend

In this article, I wish to focus on platforms that can help your business from a broad marketing and business perspective. Given the massive influx of software in the last few years, there were many quality AI-based tools that deserved mention. Unfortunately, I had to prioritize the most popular automation tools as well as the software I use for my daily tasks.

Many of these programs overlap in functionality, which makes sense, given that vendors are always looking to improve user experience. I could’ve placed some of them in several categories, but I decided to put them in the most-suitable group based on functionality (also based on how other users perceive them).

Textual AI Content Editing and Rewriting

Textual software is among the oldest AI platforms. Programs like Grammarly have been an integral part of the content creation process for over a decade, and the field has only got more competitive with time. Nowadays, you can use these products to generate blog posts from scratch but also to optimize, edit, and rewrite text.

1. Grammarly

Grammarly

Grammarly is a powerful tool that analyzes patterns and uses a set of rules to provide various suggestions for improving content. It relies on a combination of AI techniques, including advanced machine learning, natural language processing, and deep learning.

This is the most popular grammar checker on the market, which can also provide suggestions to improve your marketing content. As of late, the platform has also added AI content generation that can further simplify your writing process.

2. WordTune

WordTune

Primarily known as a content editing tool, WordTune provides a wide range of features that can help your writing process.

WordTune Spices, in particular, is one of the more intriguing features. It helps you improve text as you write, adding historical facts, interesting stats, counterarguments, expanding and contracting sentences, and even making jokes. Although not a usual AI generator, it can still supercharge your writing by making texts more engaging.

WordTune Read is another interesting functionality, allowing you to create video transcripts highlighting the main talking points. As if that wasn’t enough, the platform also provides word synonyms.

3. QuillBot

Quillbot

In many ways, QuillBot resembles WordTune. Primarily focusing on rewriting features, this software can help content creators when they get stuck. The AI-powered platform provides suggestions as you write, finishing sentences in real-time and allowing you to create high-quality content with minimal effort.

Its advanced language models can also tackle grammar and plagiarism tasks. Users can also access the citation generator feature, translator, and summarizer.

Textual AI Content Creation

This software category can generate relevant content from scratch with minimal human input. Unlike editing and rewriting platforms, which require significant human input, these programs can create massive blog posts by processing a single keyword or short description.

4. ChatGPT

ChatGPT

ChatGPT is an advanced language model made by OpenAI company. Nowadays, many brands base their generators on GPT-4 and GPT-3 technology, which is why many of them provide relatively similar outputs.

Unfortunately, when talking about ChatGPT as a productivity tool, it pales in comparison to some bigger names on the market. Although using the original technology, the platform doesn’t offer many features, nor does it have a polished interface. Yes, you can still use it to create articles, social media posts, landing pages, and product descriptions, but it doesn’t offer all the extras that you can find on other platforms.

5. Jasper

Jasper

Business owners should seriously consider Jasper for improving their customer experiences. This comprehensive platform is mainly known as an AI generator, but it offers much more than that.

You can use Jasper to create posts consistent with your brand voice. Right now, the platform offers 74 templates, including Amazon product descriptions, AI-generated art, content summaries, and just about anything else that can help your marketing and sales team.

Here is a quick overview of Jasper:

6. CopyAI

CopyAI

CopyAI is another AI-driven platform that can generate enormous texts with minimal effort. All you need to do is describe the type of content you need, provide a brief explanation, and choose a writing tone.

If you want to take things slowly, you can first create an outline with headings, decide on paragraph order, and generate talking points for each heading. This takes more time but provides better-structured texts. You can use the product for just about any marketing material, from social media content to website copies and even as an AI email writer.

7. Anyword

Anyword

Simpler than CopyAI and Jasper, Anyword is geared toward entrepreneurs with smaller business operations. To use the marketing tool, you first need to input the main keywords while also instructing the platform on which ones to avoid. After that, you need to describe the target audience and the content format.

Similar to CopyAI, Anyword allows you to modify paragraphs to create the best possible article for your clients. Using sentiment analysis, the software predicts customer satisfaction rates, scoring posts as soon as they’re generated. You can integrate Anyword with Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Ads, browsers, and email platforms.

tailwind ghostwriter

Tailwind Ghostwriter is the only AI content creation tool that was developed by a social media dashboard company. This allows you to not only easily create the content but also to easily schedule it to publish on the social networks that it supports.

I have found that because of their social media dashboard history, the results I get here are very different from other tools. Like all of the other tools on this list, results will vary, so I highly recommend you try out as many as possible to find the one that best fits for you and your business needs.

Keep in mind that Tango US is mainly used for internal and external guides, not necessarily How-To web articles. In other words, this tool is perfect for businesses that want to create internal guidelines for their employees or for coaches that sell courses and workshops.

Hoppy Copy

If you’re looking to create AI-powered emails, you should definitely consider buying HoppyCopy. The program offers more than 50 templates to create fast outreach campaigns. You can also use it to transform any other piece of content, such as blogs, into actionable emails.

Basically, Webscrape AI allows you to perform massive data scraping tasks within seconds without requiring any coding skills. Then, you can use the data to power your outreach and other marketing processes.

15. DALL-E 2

Based on its natural language processing, DALL-E 2 can understand what a person needs and generate solutions by accessing web data.

16. Midjourney

Source

This platform uses the Dalle-2 algorithm to create visuals from simple textual inputs. Before starting the process, you can also change the setting, modifying image quality, style, aspect ratio, and other parameters. You can also upload your own images and alter them with the help of AI, or you can combine several pics together.

17. Illustroke

Illustroke

Although significantly inferior to Midjourney, Illustroke can be a good option if you only want to generate illustrations. After inputting instructions, you need to choose between numerous templates featuring different art styles. Once you select colors and objects, you can generate an AI pic within seconds.

18. Canva

Canva

Canva is one of the most comprehensive graphic tools on the market that can create any type of art or marketing material. Its AI generator is a relatively new feature working under a similar premise to other software from this category.

The user can choose between numerous unique styles, photo effects, and filters. Unlike some other platforms, Canva has advanced editing features, which can be used to remove background or alter different sections of the picture.

AI Tools for Audio and Voice

This category is reserved for platforms that use AI for audio generation and editing. The section includes software that does voiceovers, creates videos, transcribes audio, and performs other functions.

19. Fireflies

As if that wasn’t enough, Lovo.AI has an art and text generator. Its comprehensive video editor relies on cutting-edge technology to create content from scratch.

22. PodSqueeze

PodSqueeze

PodSqueeze is a must-have for all podcasters who don’t have time to mess around with texts. You can use this incredible platform to create full transcripts, timestamps, titles, notes, and other excerpts. Many podcasters I know use it for tedious tasks such as creating newsletters, blogs, and social media posts.

AI Tools for Video Content Creation

Marketers can also improve their productivity by using video generation software. These platforms commonly rely on a large database of avatars, voice actors, backgrounds, and videos, to create video content from scratch.

You can also choose between numerous voices and 75 languages. As if that wasn’t enough, users can change the voice style so the sound is excited, angry, hopeful, and so on.

Then, you can upload background images and videos from the stock library, add background music, and edit various sections to create a complete experience for your clients and leads.

The program gives you a score based on your optimization, which allows you to predict how the article would perform against competitors.

27. Neuraltext

Neutraltext

Similar to previous tools, Neuraltext assigns scores to content based on its optimization.
