There are several ways to protect yourself from it. 1. Custom CAPTCHA

3. reCAPTCHA v2
reCAPTCHA v2 actually has two different methods for checking the user:
- “I’m not a robot” Checkbox: The user has to click on a checkbox, and if there’s no suspicious activity that comes from this user, it’s enough. But if not, Google will ask to prove that he is human with other tests.
- Invisible reCAPTCHA badge: It’s similar to the previous one but doesn’t require the user to click the checkbox. Additional actions are required only if the source of traffic seems suspicious.
