Benefits of Using AI Voice Generators (for Creating Engaging Content)
If you’re a digital marketer, you can gain a lot of value from these tools. Here are a few ways you can utilize this type of software:
- For creating YouTube videos.
- For your company’s explainer and training videos.
- For Facebook, Instagram, and other social media posts
- For your company’s podcasts.
- For cloning your voice and reusing it across all of your digital assets.
Nowadays, it seems that AI voice generators are the most popular among YouTube creators. Users can create and edit videos and just add enticing AI voices to them. As such, these tools allow you to save money on voice actors and other marketing tasks.
AI voice generators are especially suitable for content creators who have a lisp or heavy foreign accents but want to target a specific market.
15 Best AI Voice Generators
I had good luck in testing various AI voice generators for my company. The best ones include AI writers and are, for the most part, self-sufficient platforms. When creating a list, I also placed emphasis on software that comes with features for modifying pace, emotion, and voice style.
Let’s take a look at my recommendations in detail.
1. ElevenLabs
My favorite thing about ElevenLabs is that they offer a free online tool to web users. You can tinker around with the company’s speech technology before committing, eliminating any purchasing risks.
The main features of this artificial intelligence software include turning text to speech, speech to speech, dubbing, voice cloning, and text to SFX. Users have 32 languages at their disposal, ranging from English to Hungarian, Danish, Chinese, and Vietnamese.
There’s also a list of 17 voice AI actors, allowing you to choose the right sounding for your digital content strategy. ElevenLabs combines textual content creation with voice cloning so you can create a podcast script or YouTube episode on the fly. For a bit higher monthly subscription price, you even get analytics, priority support, and multiple AI voices in one piece.
2. Speechify
Speechify is one of my favorite audio tools, and it works on Google Chrome, Android, Mac, Microsoft Edge, and iOS. The software focuses on mobile device users who want to listen to their favorite textual content via phone. However, you can use it for any other content creation process.
Besides your generic voice actors, Speechify also features a few celebrities. Enhance your audio content with the voice of Mr. Beast, Gwyneth Paltrow, or Snoop Dog. Among others, Speechify does a fantastic job with training videos and explainer videos, adding AI dubbing to each piece of content.
Similar to other speech tools on the list, Speechify is able to translate a wide range of textual content into 20 languages. Besides assisting content creators, this powerful software is perfect for people with visual impairment and those who prefer audiobooks to reading.
3. Murf
Murf specializes in use cases and formats. In other words, instead of a generic library of voices, you have voice actors for every purpose. For example, you can go with a podcaster, marketer, author, animator, or customer support, each with a unique delivery.
I also love the high number of customization options. Improve users\ experience by modifying the intonation of every word, the pace, and the pitch of the audio file. With Murf, you have full control over the project with minimal hassle. You can also generate several variations of professional voiceovers, each with a unique delivery.
All in all, you can choose from a long list of 120 voice styles in 20 languages. The software allows you to add amazing videos, background music tracks, and images to further enhance the audio content. This digital solution also has collaboration features that will come in handy during your projects.
4. Lovo
If you’re looking for a platform with a plethora of AI-generated voices, look no further than Lovo. This amazing software features more than 500 human voices and allows translation in 100 languages.
However, the thing that makes this solution so great isn’t just its high-quality voiceovers. Lovo comes with numerous AI features that allow you to streamline digital projects. You’ll definitely benefit from an AI writer, AI art generator, online video editor, and subtitle generator.
This nifty all-in-one AI voice generator comes with an API, allowing your developer team to integrate it with other company software. Lovo offers a few other services to its users, most notably collaboration tools.
5. Play
Similar to Lovo, Play offers several AI tools allowing you to streamline the entire process of voice generation. The platform’s studio comes with 800+ realistic voices translated into 142 languages. The best thing about them is that they can mimic a wide emotional range, changing their intonation based on your specific needs.

6. InVideo
InVideo, a video content creation and editing software, also has a tool that specializes in YouTube audio generation. When you first start the process, you choose to create audio output for YouTube Shorts, YouTube explainer videos, or turn a script into a video. After that, you choose what type of voice you need based on the sex and intonation.
Perhaps the best thing about this software is its ability to turn simple prompts into wholesome videos. The platform generates creative videos with minimal inputs, so you don’t have to hassle with picking and choosing intonation, pitch, pace, and target voice. Instead, the program automates the entire video generation process from start to finish.

7. Clipchamp
By relying on Clipchamp’s voice technology, you generate audio files in 400 custom voices and 80 languages. Similar to many other entries on the list, the software gives you granular control over your outputs, allowing you to slow the output or change the voice pitch.
Another fantastic thing about this solution is its AI editing feature. The tool automatically removes pauses from your content, creating a well-polished digital experience for your users. The software also introduces subtitles to each piece, which is a must-have for people with hearing impairment.
8. Veed
Veed is a complex platform consisting of various artificial intelligence and machine learning tools with a vocus on video content creation and editing, but they also offer voice generation tools.
Besides mimicking human speech patterns, the software generates AI art, removes background noise from your pieces, and uses eye contact technology. Basically, Veed serves as an all-in-one platform where you can create videos from start to finish.
Users can select one of the human-like voices from the voice library or clone their own speech. The software is especially fantastic at cleaning up your audio files and providing a smoother listening experience. The software allows you to introduce emojis, subtitles, images, and other visuals to enhance your posts.
9. Synthesia
The thing that differentiates Synthesia from other tools on the list is its digital avatars. When producing creative videos, you can add these digital personalities to the screen. Besides having lifelike speech, avatars move around as real humans, making them ideal for explainer videos and other interactive content.
All in all, Synthesia offers 400+ speech voices in 130+ languages. If that wasn’t enough, there’s also a cloning feature that allows you to replicate your own voice. Synthesia can change your future outputs by putting emphasis on certain words, introducing breaks or removing pauses, altering pronunciation, or adding local accents.

10. NaturalReader
NaturalReader is a somewhat simple online tool for AI-generated content. The basic personal plan is free to use and is accessible from the browser. All you have to do is copy-paste your text and choose from a list of character voices to bring your content to life.
While the free plan is solid for occasional use, content creators will have to go with the paid version. Besides having high-quality voices, the paid plan excels at intonation and delivery. Voice actors offer a much wider range of emotions, making the outputs sound much smoother. Paid plan also has a complex editor that will improve various aspects of your posts.
11. Fliki
Fliki isn’t necessarily a voice cloning tool. Instead, it serves as an AI video generator that happens to have several voice features. The software allows you to generate amazing digital content by using scripts and textual inputs. Fliki can choose content by default, or you can tap into its library to select the most appropriate templates.
Its text to speech feature serves to enhance videos, but you can also use it separately to create stand-alone audio files. Fliki offers more than 2,000 voices in 80 languages, so finding the right one might be a challenge. Based on what I’ve seen, the outputs are pretty solid, although the tool doesn’t offer the same level of customization as other programs.

12. Deepgram
If you’re looking for free, simple software for voice generation, look no further than Deepgram. The program works within browser and doesn’t have any intricate features. All you have to do is input the text, select the voice, and generate the output. Once Deepgram has finished the process, you can download the file to your device.
The only issue with this software is that it only features 9 AI voices, all of which are in English. Nevertheless, the voices are quite polished and make for excellent outputs. My only complaint is that there aren’t a bit more features to improve intonation and pace.
13. Synthesys
Synthesis features 370 AI voices covering 140 languages. On top of that, you also gain access to 40 super-realistic voices that stand out from the crowd. The tool is especially great at putting emphasis on particular sentences and words; the AI voice can transition from joyful to angry, sad, or exhilarated emotion within the same paragraph.
Besides emotions, you also have the ability to control the speed of delivery, insert pauses, and change the voice style. Adding modifications is very simple. All you have to do is mark certain words within the script and assign changes to them. The granular access will ensure your audio content sounds as natural as possible.
14. Voicemod
While Voicemod works under a similar premise as other speech software, there’s a bit difference between them. Instead of using your generic, human-like voices, this platform messes around with various avatars. For example, you can use pilot, mothership, or robot voice to deliver your messages and create enticing posts for your audience.
As you can presume, Voicemod is ideal for entrepreneurs working within the gaming and entertainment industry. Unfortunately, the platform doesn’t do a great job processing and editing your audio files. Because of that, you’re forced to provide top-tier inputs to get quality outputs.

15. Resemble.ai
Not only is Resemble.ai great at generating AI voices, but it is also a powerful tool for deepfake detection. Like a few other programs on the list, this platform incorporates an AI writer who can assist you during the content creation process. Generate posts from scratch or introduce your own scripts into the program.
Besides relying on a vast library of voices, you can also clone your own voice and repurpose it for future content. Resemble.ai is fantastic for localization, supporting more than 100 global languages. It also allows you to mimic a wide variety of emotions, personalizing outputs for your audience.
Next Steps
Even if you have a pleasant voice, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to try out an AI voice generator and listen to its results. These programs offer a library of professional voice actors, significantly improving the quality of the audio output of the content.
If I were you, I would go down the list and test all these programs one by one. Each of them provides certain benefits and could prove to be useful for your digital marketing.
